Joining the beta

Tenvara is coming soon. Until launch, MSPs join by applying for the beta on the early access page, and the team invites them in small groups. Beta members get their own hosted instance at yourname.tenvara.app, set up by the team, or a self-hosted licence, plus the mobile app. This page covers applying, what happens next and how invitations work.

Apply for the beta#

1. Go to www.tenvara.io/early-access.
2. Press Apply for the beta.
3. Fill in the form:
   • Your name, work email, company, role and country.
   • How many technicians you have and roughly how many endpoints you manage.
   • The tools you use today, for example your PSA, RMM and backup.
   • Whether you would prefer hosted (we run it for you) or self-hosted (you run it on your own server).
   • What you want to solve: the problems you hope Tenvara fixes for you.
   • How you heard about us.
4. Send the form.

The more you tell us about your tools and what you want to solve, the better we can match you to the right group and set up your instance.

Tip: Use your work email address. It is how the team gets in touch with you, and your invitation goes to it.

After you apply#

• You get a confirmation email straight away, so you know your application has arrived.
• The team reviews every application. There is nothing else you need to do in the meantime.
• Invitations go out in small groups. That keeps each group well supported and lets what early members tell us shape what comes next. If you are not in the first group, your application stays with us for later ones.
• Nothing is charged during the beta. You are not asked for a card to apply or to take part. Pricing is announced before launch, so you know where you stand before you commit.

How invitations work#

When you are invited, you get an email from the team. It explains what happens next for the deployment you chose.

Hosted#

1. The team sets up your own instance at yourname.tenvara.app, with its own database.
2. When it is ready, you get your sign-in details by email.
3. If you have an account at www.tenvara.io, you can follow the instance under Hosted instances in the client area while it is set up. See Hosted onboarding for the statuses and what each means.

Self-hosted#

The team issues you a licence key. Install Tenvara on your own Linux server with Docker Compose by following Installing self-hosted.

Once you can sign in#

1. Open your instance and sign in with the details you were sent. Set up two-factor straight away. See Signing in.
2. Carry on with First steps: add a customer, invite your team and install the agent.
3. Get the mobile app for your technicians. See Getting the app and signing in.

Tip: Run Tenvara side by side with the tools you use today. Start with one customer or one job, such as the service desk or backup, and move more over as you go.

As a beta member you have a direct line to the team building Tenvara. Reply to any of our emails with questions, problems or ideas.

Get updates#

If you are not ready to apply, or just want to follow along, sign up for launch and product updates instead.

1. Go to www.tenvara.io/early-access and choose Get updates.
2. Enter your email address.
3. Open the email we send you and confirm your address. You are not signed up until you do.

Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, so you can stop them whenever you like.

Questions#

Can I sign up or buy a plan on the website?#

Sign-ups and plans open at launch, and pricing is announced before then. Until launch, apply for the beta and the team gets in touch.

Does the beta cost anything?#

No. Nothing is charged during the beta. Pricing is announced before launch.

I applied. When will I hear back?#

Invitations go out in small groups, and the team emails you when yours is ready. Your confirmation email tells you your application has arrived.

Can I choose hosted or self-hosted later?#

Tell us your preference on the form. If it changes, reply to any of our emails and let the team know.

I already have an account at www.tenvara.io#

You can still sign in at www.tenvara.io and use the client area to see your hosted instances and licence keys. Your team does not need an account there: they only sign in to your Tenvara instance.

What is the "Trial ended" status in my account?#

Some earlier accounts have a trial instance. If yours shows Trial ended, access to it is paused and everything you set up is kept. Apply for the beta or reply to any of our emails to talk to the team about it.
